Where to buy adult blanket sleepers from answerbag.com

Winter can be cold, and staying warm is important for comfort and overall health. Adult blanket sleepwear will definitely help ward off the chill as the temperature outside drops. But sleepwear blankets are not always easy to find.

Consider a few different sources when shopping for blanket sleepwear. The most common adult blanket sleepwear contains polyester or cotton fabrics. Get out and try on a few different varieties to help you decide which is the best fabric for you.

Shopping Online

You will be hard pressed to find a retail store in your neighborhood that sells a wide variety of adult sleepwear blankets. Use your computer to fulfill your needs. There are sites dedicated to blanket sleepwear on the web. Find them by using the correct keywords in your search.

Point your browser to sites such as eBay, Amazon, Google or Bing and type the following: "adult+blanket+sleepwear." This will provide you a vast array of options.

Look for websites with special offers on shipping. Blanket sleepwear can be heavy. The retail market is very competitive right now. You should be able to quickly find what you are looking for.

Brick and Mortar Stores

The popularity of items such as the Snuggie have made blanket sleepers and other comfort items much more readily available at local stores. The winter season is your best bet when shopping for items such as blanket sleepers.

Stores such as Walmart, JCPenney and Sears commonly stock adult sleepwear during the holiday gift-giving season, and they are often discounted during this time.

Quick Style and Pricing Guide

Have an idea what you are looking for when you search for blanket sleepwear. Consider the level of warmth that you would like. For the ultimate level of warmth, consider adult-sized footy pajamas. Parents put these on children for a reason. They keep the youngsters feeling warm and safe.

If you are not comfortable with having your feet covered, or you do not need the amount of warmth that footy pajamas provide, consider a one-piece style with cuffed bottoms. It is common for people not to want to sleep with socks on or otherwise have their feet covered, and this style will solve that problem.

For the last couple of years people have really taken to the Snuggie brand of adult blanket sleepwear. Millions have been sold on television and they are now common fixtures at retail stores. They are essentially a blanket with arm holes and they will most certainly keep you warm. Snuggies are known to be used for lounging and relaxing but also are marketed as a comfortable pajama solution.

Plan to spend about $20 to $30 for a Snuggie brand item and between $20 and $50 for a pair of adult-sized pajamas in a footy- or non-footy style.

There used to be a few sites on the net, that used to sell adult blanket sleepers. However, the one I used(which seemed to have been the best one I've found), seemed to have went out of business in late 2007. However, their site lives on in enfamy (www.warmthwear.com)-they must obviously be waiting for a person to take over their business.

There was once another company, that had adult blanket-sleepers. However, once I bought a few, about a month later, all the zippers broke, and had to be replaced. They had a long list of things, and so, we just decided to replace them manually.

There is also the much taunted JumpinJammerz company(www.jumpinjammerz.com). However, I noticed that, with this company, they don't put that white skid-resistant rubber soles on the bottom of their feet. And, figuring their prices, these kind of get pricey. Even their cheaper ones have problems too.

The way I stumbled across these, was to type in the search box of Internet Explorer(or www.bing.com) "adult blanket sleepers"(verbatim). I'm pretty sure you'll find a concise list there of companies to choose from. You could also do this same search at other search engines, but I'll let you know where I got these sites from, to start you off.
