different parts of the world, different names are used for footed
pajamas. Some call them "footies", some call them "feety pajamas" and
some use the term "blanket sleeper". I guess it is because wearing

Fleece footed pajamas maybe be cotton or polyester. Polyester is better quality today than it used to be. Polyester is less likely to shrink and do not look as wrinkled after washing. Polyester lasts longer than cotton, while cotton is usually more absorbent and breathable.

bought footy pajamas to wear. Luckily, I'm short and small enough that I

pajamas or pyjamas are very ideal for cold winters like we have now
since they prevent us from getting leg muscle cramps. they are very
comfortable to wear. i like anything with footies. squidangel
*blessings* granted.

is an awesome idea, I totally forgot about these even existing, Wearing
socks all of the time is not good for your ankles as the elastic can
restrict blood flow and cause swelling, I suffer with this 'cause I wear
socks in bed, I'm so going to buy a pair of these.

wish I would have found your lens in December! I found "big feet" pj's
on Amazon and bought a pair as a gift. Sadly, they shrank slightly
despite being washed per thier instructions, and they basically said
"too bad". Had I known so many other people made these, I might have
found a better retailer to buy them from!

Oh,
this brings back lots of memories. We always got feet pajamas for
Christmas, and it was the only gift we got to open on Christmas eve, so
we could wear them to bed! Thanks, I'll have to get some, I never even
thought to check if they were available for adults. Great lens

wife loves these things. When we were dating (many MANY moons ago) we
went to a mall and she saw some at a major department store. The sales
clerk was an extraordinarily attractive young woman who rubbed up
against me and said, "I can't believe you're letting her buy those
things. As far as I'm concerned...the less material that's there the
better." Talk about mixed emotions... SIGH. But we've been married
for 27 years so you know which wa I went.

always loved my footed pajamas. I had an adult pair in the early 1980's
but lost them during a move. it's great that they have made a
come-back.
You can make your footies more personal by stenciling your name on them or adding a nice design.

wife and I both wear footed pj's because we don't want to pay the high
prices for heating fuel. Why heat an entire room when you can be just
as warm and cozy without the cost? The pj's I got are great! Yes,
they're footed one piece, zip up with no drop seat.

Actually,
they slept naked throughout the middle ages, and probably up through
the 18th century. All of the pictures I've studied of medieval people
in bed, they're wearing nothing but a coif (bonnet) on their heads.
(I'm a re-enactor and write lenses on medieval topics, btw.)
As
I speak, I'm wearing fleece footie pajamas (two-piece) that my MIL got
for me for Christmas a few years ago. I've always loved footie pajamas
because I've always had cold feet. Something about slippers and socks
make my feet break out in a cold sweat, so they're cold as well as
clammy. I guess I get more air circulation in the footie pajamas, so
they don't sweat, but they do stay warmer.
If I can't get
some at a reasonable price--or get them as a gift at Christmas--I
suppose I'm going to have to break down and make my own. Thanks for the
tip that some have hoods! I was about to make myself a medieval coif
to wear to bed.
These are really funny. I think I'd only get to wear them if I'm alone with nobody else in the house.lol
